Recollections from a trek around Iceland, Remnants pictures its arctic, mineral and ruthless landscapes.
Restrained tracks made of droning guitars and evasive field recordings are now enhanced by stronger and more uplifting melodic parts. But while Remnants is, unlike their self-titled debut, more inspired by reality, it doesn't prevent them to soften memories thanks to their personal quest of minimalism.
Hotel Neon shows us the light, but leaves us walk the path towards it on our own.
